Many parents, people, and children in society often overlook autism as a disability in which speech is prohibited. In fact, an overlooked fact is when certain areas of the brain are "injured", others are additionally highlighted to preserve the organ's function.
Similarly, as the autism community may have hindered social abilities, our individual brains are highlighted and provide us with special gifts, viewed as being abnormal to neurotypicals. While it may be unbelievable, some of the smartest geniuses like Einstein, Newton and Darwin were supposedly Autistic.
Additionally, high-functioning children are often dismissed as fully functional, appearing asymptomatic and never receive a diagnosis until it's too late, compared to children that require more services. Without adequate support, it's simple for them to fall behind, regardless of what spectrum category they're diagnosed, parental support and involvement is crucial upon their uttermost success.
With the right tools and support, children with autism can develop new skills and achieve their full potential. We are proud to be a part of this important work and invite you to join us in improving society's awareness of autism.
